AIR FRESHENER SPRAY

Many household cleaning products are not only housed in plastic, they are riddled with nasty chemicals we can’t even pronounce let alone have any idea what they actually are.

Luckily there are so many simple and beautiful recipes online for DIY air freshener sprays. I use the below as I already use Peppermint and Rosemary essential oils for baking, body scrubs and hair treatments. It’s all about keeping costs down, softening our eco footprint, reducing our plastic use and our exposure to harmful chemicals.

What You Need

Amber Glass Bottle (found online)

2 tbsp vodka, rubbing alcohol or real vanilla extract (I use vodka)

 ¾ cup of water

 10 drops Peppermint essential oil

 8 drops Rosemary essential oil

I actually doubled the above quantities for this bottle pictured, so simply adjust your measurements according to the size of the bottle you are using.
